Bolton Metro’s vision is to strive for excellence.
We focus on achieving this by encouraging an effective and systematic long-term development model within our membership. It is our aim to provide members with the optimum environment and the right opportunities at each stage of their development to inspire and enable the achievement of excellence.
Bolton Metro will:
Work closely with local clubs, authorities and schools to create seamless pathways from early skill-development to international podium level.
Provide opportunity for swimmers to access higher level training facilities and the best possible coaching.
Encourage and recognise self-development, leadership and fair play achieved through participation in the sport of swimming.
Teach swimmers to understand the value of supporting the team and the value of support from the team.
Constantly challenge members, provide opportunities to develop new skills and encourage life-long participation in sport.
